If you’re thinking about sprucing up your home with some exciting new rooms and you’re interested in finding some innovative wood false ceiling designs, then this article is for you. In this brief article, I’ll be discussing three different ceiling designs you can use to add a touch of class to any room in your home. My hope is that by the time you have finished reading this article, you will have some great ideas to implement in your own home. So let’s get started!
The first of my three recommendations for living-room ceiling designs is a simple wooden ceiling panel. These panels can be stained in any color of your choosing and can even be painted in patterns or images if you so desire. They’re easily installed and remove, and they can last for years. Because they are so durable, they are also an affordable option.

The second idea I have for this room is quite interesting and somewhat unique. I would call it a “combination lounger”. This is basically a false ceiling that has a combination of lounger chairs attached to it. It’s a unique idea and definitely has its place in a living room. You can purchase one of these from just about any home improvement store for about $500.
The last of my false ceiling suggestions is quite interesting and may not be something people think of all that often. However, it is an easy way to add some class to your living room and it’s surprisingly easy to do. A simple ceiling fan is attached to the ceiling of the room and the fan is moved around and adjusted on a regularly basis. What I like about this style is that it creates a certain feeling within the room. If you walk into the room and the ceiling fan has been turned to a “blooming” level, it immediately makes you feel comfortable and content. This isn’t the most original idea, but it works well.

There are two other styles, I would like to introduce to you. One is very simple, I would say a traditional ceiling. This ceiling design is usually made of wood with scroll work and bead board detailing. This type of ceiling can really make your living room stand out and is quite tasteful for anyone with a more traditional decor.
The other option I want to present you is much more creative, but I wouldn’t necessarily call it “art”. This ceiling design is inspired by Mid-Century Modern and looks sort of airy. It is composed of faux exposed plywood panels covered in a color of your choosing. Because of the nature of the materials used it creates a very airy appearance and I would actually consider this a better option than some of the other false ceiling ideas because it is easier to maintain. Of course if you are looking for classes in your room this is the one to go for.

When you finish your new false ceiling, you can apply either a fabric or paint to cover it. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. The fabric tends to be easier to clean because you can just use a vacuum to remove dust and dirt. Paint is usually a little more difficult to use. While it will last longer and look better, you need to either wait to dry or reapply it depending on how stubborn the color is.

I hope these false ceiling designs have given you some new ideas. I know that some of you have probably been thinking about this problem for a long time. I know that I was actually debating whether or not to get a new one for my living room about a decade ago. I finally decided that this was something I wanted to do as I love my room and I would like to make it look as unique as possible. So if you are thinking about making a major change to your living room, why not get something that looks unique and modern?
